I'm Sierra, and welcome to the blog of blunt truth on the fashion industry and fashion in rare form. You might see me dabble in other subjects here and there just to keep you awake, but I like to stick to what I love & hate. I'll tell you now, this is a real blog for the fashionably challenged to the so-called "gurus of fashion." I live and breathe fashion on the day-to-day basis, so I know my stuff. I follow trends, follow my own beat, and drop designers. I'm a freelance writer looking for views. I'm just myself looking for a place to type out my thoughts. I love fashion. I believe in a budget, so don't expect to see me supporting a 3,000 dollar headband; I might gawk at the luxury and find a cheap copy. I hate to be partial, but Marc Jacobs will always have my heart. These are the boots of the year! Maybe the decade? I love the Burberry Aviator Shearling Platform Boot; these are like shoe heaven on Earth. The buckle detail, the killer aviator style, and the structure is just...words do not explain it. The price, $1,395, is a tad steep for my budget, but if I had the money, they would definitely be in my closet right now! The shorter version of this boot is completely sold out for a clear reason; they're fabulous! Topshop made a similar pair for a lot less, but they just don't compare. These boots are definitely going on my expensive designer items wishlist...I'm in love, lust, and whatever that feeling I get when I see these boots!

Featured below are a few of my favorites from the CHANEL FALL RTW 2010 COLLECTION.

The theme for the show was purely ICE. Karl Lagerfeld and a team put the "Ice Hotel" and fur attire together with, I'm assuming, the idea of Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back.
