What can I say about the man I truly adore? He's a dominant figure in the fashion industry! He's classic and somewhat conservative! He's the face of luxury! He is Louis Vuitton...
The 50's setting with a touch of Parisian flair made the Louis Vuitton Fall 2010 show feel like they were sent to the past, yet it was merely the future, the future of Louis Vuitton. It had life and was quite feminine. I must say, Marc Jacobs has really out done himself this time! His idea to choose a few curvaceous models really turned the show into something more realistic, something rare in fashion.
The corset tops accentuated assets for a more dramatic approach, yet the quaint colors and floral prints made it feminine and sweet, not too bold. Classic plaids and long skirts were used to keep the traditional Fall look. Furs were also added for classic detail, and leather skirt and trenches were also a main staple, a very chic trend this upcoming season. Must I mention the new approach to the classic Speedy?
It had the same 1930's shape, but it was sequined! Some were satin overlaid with guipure lace, and others were woven with metallic thread and finished off with fox. Oh, and the shoes, the shoes were as cute as a button! They were generally two toned and had cute little bows in the front! There are so many things that I adored in this show, so with no further ado, I shall unveil the looks that caught my particular eye...
Overall, the show was a hit in my eyes! Gorgeous and wearable in every way! Now, I just have to save up for one of the outfits...Hmm, that might take a while! Any who, what do you all think of Louis? Comment!
Bonsoir!

The Competition

Just for a between post...
I recently realized that the competition for having the "Top Dog" blog is fierce. The lack of fans is really starting get me down, but I'm going to keep hope alive! I need fans other than friends for one.
For all those reading my blog right now, THANK YOU! It's nice to know that I'm not just typing for nothing. I will start to keep my blog updated on the regular basis, and I do plan to spice it up. I might even start making an archive of my own daily style, which forces me to not be lazy with my appearance. It also means that you guys will be seeing photos of me rocking the latest looks!
What do you guys want to see? What are most fashion blogs missing? Tell me! Comment!

They're Jigglin' Baby
@
7:00 PM
Yo, I have a feeling LL had a point! I swear obesity has gotten out of control; a large majority of people these days are really leaning towards being super sized! As my mother made a trip into the grocery store, I sat in the car and decided to people watch, and man, just about everyone I saw had a few extra rolls. They were jigglin' baby! I used to ignore the amount of chubby people, but whenever I turn on my TV these days, I see a show referring to weight loss. The most recent show that I noticed was called Too Fat for 15; the show is so sad. I mean a 11 year old girl whom weighs about 250 pounds just isn't normal, and is extremely unhealthy. So ladies and gents, if you are overweight, please take care of yourself and make a change! The health issues that come with being overweight is off the charts. I know it may be hard to give up the bad habits, but the end results of eating healthy and exercising will be worth it! Go on a diet!

Desperate For More

2:45 AM
Bonsoir! I've got a late night treat for you! As I was flipping through the pages of Vogue's August issue, I fell upon some information about a new book all about one of the UK's homegrown divas, Kate Moss! The book pretty much shares some of her life in a good light rather then her drug habit and Johnny Depp (one of my fave old Hollywood couples).
The title is quite simple, Kate Moss by Mario Testino. Did I mention that Mr. Testino just happened to be one of Kate's very good friends and photographer, so do expect to see unreleased photos of Kate's life with the photographer, pretty much from his own personal stash. The book also includes just oldschool photos from magazines and things, like any other model's biography.
There is one downside to the debut. Only 1,500 copies will be produced, so please go hunting for your copy now if you are interested; I know I am! I'm happy to finally see that there is a biography sort of book about Kate Moss that doesn't completely speak of her heroin problem and just all the drama. I never have cared to hear the negatives! So with no further ado, buy a copy before it's too late, if it isn't already!
We All Want To Be Fierce

I can't conjure up the idea of ruining an outfit with a completely disgusting accessory to top it off, yet some seem to be able to. Matching, realistic, cute, sexy, genius, futuristic, vintage, bold or even basic sense of style isn't something that floats around their unfashionable brains, the epitome of What Not To Wear. Man, there's nothing like adding a tacky gold sequined hobo bag (un-chic), with a pleather strap I might add, to a very conservative Chanel skirt suit (chic in every possible way)! I just felt the need to let it all out today; since, I've been seeing so many victims walking the streets these days. Don't get me started on the youth today-"Pull your pants up!"
Now that I've vented I can finally get to the process of being a fashion DO rather then a DON'T, my point of view on feeling confident about whatever you choose to wear, and pretty much the key to being...FIERCE!
I like to be comfortable somedays and a complete glamazon on other days. The way you look rides on your mood most of the time, not unless you just don't care for fashion. (This blog probably isn't really for you.) So remember fashionistas, feel great on the inside rather then just looking good on the out! As for becoming a fashion idol, you must remember the basics and some tricks too! From hair to heels, there is always a trick to insure that you look flawless! I'll have a nice list of tricks for you a little later, because I want to get on to the basics.
Every classic fashionista owns a pair of black pumps, a trench coat, a conservative pencil skirt, and pearls (real or otherwise). Think Audrey Hepburn! Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's
Now if you want to be less conservative, I've got a more modern and younger take on what is classified as chic! You will definitely need skinny jeans, make sure you either go dark wash for a slim look or a light acid wash to really stand out, really accentuates curves on boyish frames. Habitual Acid Wash Jeans
A black bikini or monokini will bring out the sexy SI model in you! Red Carter Slashed One Piece at Victoria Secret
Michael Kors Summer 2010 Monokini
Also, must I remind you that every so-called fashionista could use some clear bra straps and a push-up bra for that matter! Take a little trip to Victoria's Secret, so you can get fitted for a bra; it makes a world of a difference. Something very popular in fashion these days seems to be simple tees. The reason being is that it really can make a chic outfit when you pair it with some skinny jeans and some killer pumps; for the fall, throw a fitted leather bomber jacket over it. The color of choice for these pocket protected tees seem to be just basic white! It makes getting dressed a cinch!
Do not deprive yourself of having fun! Buy some cute, bright leggings that describes your personality. Patterned leggings can turn a boring outfit into something that really grabs someone's eye! The All in Stripes Sweater Leggings at ThKarmaloop.com
Some funky heels really can take an ensemble to the next level, so buy something that is rambunctious! Nicholas Kirkwood for Rodarte-Spring/Summer 2010
As you can see, I can pretty much go on and on about fashion and how to be stylish from head to toe, but I'd be typing forever and you would definitely probably get tired of reading! I'm going to move on to the art of being truly fierce! If you haven't realized it yet, every fierce flame carries themselves with confidence! You must have faith in your outfit, no second guessing! Every diva is confident in themselves, and they don't let people bring them down! Tyra Banks
Also, fierceness comes with not only staying up to date with today's fashion but also by creating styles of their own in the process. The rules of being fierce are so simple. There are no rules! Don't lose yourself!
Chao!
